My dogs bark. Alot. The big guy is so obnoxious he barks when family members approach me. Ugh! He’s been with me 10 years and is so protective. The little guy was quiet when he first came to live with us, but soon followed the big guys lead in the noise department. I had already tried a stand alone “no barking” instrument, but it did not deter either dog. I was hesitant to spend more money on just another product. But…these dogs are noisy. I ordered this. Charged it up. Decided on my command word, “ENOUGH!” The first time I used it…immediate silence. Both dogs were now under my command. I used it a couple of more times to reinforce, each time using the command word, “ENOUGH!” Now they don’t forget I am pack leader. Something might trigger them, but it’s a small, “woof”, waiting on me to let them know if it’s danger. They are both much calmer.

I have a 4 year old Great Pyrenees Belgian Shepherd mix who will go nuts at any perceived sound or movement outside of our yard. When this happens, he refuses to listen to commands and will even reflexively snap at you if you touch him (although that is rare because he can run much, much faster than I can, lol). Our other dog, a 13 year old mutt (maybe a Chow Pit mix), will join him in losing his mind. This was all a mild nuisance until our new neighbor with two of their own dogs moved in next door. The NPS Alpha Anti Bark Tool has done nothing to change this behavior despite over a month of training with my dogs per the NPS instructions. It also has no effect on the neighbor’s dogs though, for their dogs, I am unable to apply the instructed training. It has been 34 days so, if this were going to have any effect, I feel like I should be seeing some sort of improvement by now. I came to Asntls to return it, not realizing I’d missed the return window by a few days. Since I am unable to get my money back, I figured I could at least leave an honest review and maybe prevent others from wasting their time and money, too. I love the idea of the device and I wish it worked for us. Maybe I got a dud or maybe I am just surrounded by especially difficult dogs but this hasn’t done anything to help.

The item shipped quickly and was very easy to use. It unfortunately did not work for my dog. I tried it in all different environments, when he was alone or when another dog or cat were around. I followed the instructions but it did not affect him. When the cats were around and he was barking at them, it did scare the cats away, even though I was pointing it right at the dog. Maybe I should’ve kept it to keep the cats from scratching my sofa, but it was not affective at stopping my dog from barking. Returning the item was easy as well.
Revised review. The company reached out to me after my return to send me an alternative, which is the NPS ant bark collar. We have used that on our chihuahua the last few weeks and it is working. The warning buzz works well once my dog was exposed to the vibration. He barks once and hears the beep and stops barking. He also barks less in situations he would normally bark when he doesn’t have his collar on. All in all I appreciate the company reaching out to me with an alternate product. The bark collar works well

Oh where to start. I got this for my miniature pinscher. Anyone who has a min pin knows that they bark. She isn’t our first one, however her bark is extra loud for a min pin and ear piercing. I got this because we don’t use sprays in our house because of household sensitivities. It’s easy to use and the idea is great. But when your dog looks at it and barks after you use it it definitely doesn’t serve it’s purpose. I was asked to take a survey on the product gave my honest opinion. Received an email from the company asking for a few options. I had already sent the product back to Asntls for a refund. In the email they basically said that the problem was my dog that she either had hearing issues or past trauma. She just turned a year old, has a 100% clean bill of health, and I’ve had her since she was 7 weeks old. She has had zero trauma. I even tried it on my friend’s German Shepherd and she barked at the remote as well. Does not work!!

Ok, so I have two mini Schnauzers and one of them is really an aggressive barker chaser of our neighborhood kids when they ride around on their bikes and scooters and what not through the alley surrounding our back yard, also, he’s VERY territorial when people come to the door, barking, trying to bite, etc. So I got this because 1) i don’t like his barking any more than my probably very annoyed neighbors, and 2) I wanted to find a way to break him out of his single minded (RED ZONE) guarding of the door when guests arrive. Good news, this fixed BOTH problems. Now you have to be really consistent with using it, but it works great. Anywhere in the back yard and it will stop them from barking. as for the people at the door issue, i stood between the door and the dog and beeped this thing at him and i backed him straight up! He did NOT like it, and he stood down. People coming to the house is sooooooo much better now! such a relief. Now in the house I just show it to them and they stop what they are doing. It’s not annoying to humans, but it must really be for them because they respond right quick with the simplest of quick tap on the button. I would 100% recommend this item to anyone with issues like what we have.

This thing worked so quickly on my dogs but I think it will take time for them to learn to listen to it, at times they don’t even respond to it. The part I’m concerned about is that I’m pretty certain it made me sick. Some nausea feeling (like motion sickness) discomfort in my head and just feels like it may have bothered my ears. Has anyone else experience this??? I can change the rating if it isn’t true ut seems it is and also from some stuff I read.

It works!!!!My dogs react to it immediately! I needed a way of training them to stop jumping on me every time I came home or walked out of the bedroom. They constantly fought each other for my attention. Once I was able to give them the command sit stay along with this device I could then use positive praise every time they started to do this and I have to say it’s been wonderful watching them working for that now. They are so calm and no longer jump on me. Love this wonderful tool! It has to be used properly though or it will confuse your dog so I will advise you to make sure you are consistent in your commands and the communication you are using with your dog otherwise you may have a dog that is just scared. It’s a wonderful tool used in the correct way!
