Got this for the easy removal of hair from the brush. I bought for my cats. I do like this but wish it was a tad smaller.

This is this brush, next to my old school brush. I first used a new brush, and hardly anything came off, and that’s with me, brushing, and brushing, and brushing. After using that brush, I used my old brush, which I am now ordering another one, only because I want to keep one upstairs and one downstairs. HUGE difference as brush was full, again AFTER I used this brush. Search JW cat brush. Honestly, the FURminator is the best, which I have that also, gets off the most hair, just have to do it outside.

The first few times I used it the hair did not simply fall off the brush when I pushed the button. I had to deploy the button and pull hair off manually. Perhaps it will with more use. Hair does pull off ok for the most part but it doesn’t just fall away. It’s a bit big for a small cat but does comb the coat well.

I have a Manchester Terrier and this brush did not remove old hair. He also did not like the combing I think it was painful to him.

Gets all the excess fur from my cats, I didn’t realise actually how much they were shedding, or not, until I used this self cleaning pet brush. My cat doesn’t like being brushed usually so he gets a bit knotty but this brush was easy to use to get rid of all the excess fur.

Our cat loved this brush, it dug deep and got all the shedding hair in the summer months, she loved to rub her cheeks on it as well. Sadly, she has passed away, but I will keep it if we decide to get another cat.

I’ve got a multiple pet household and hoped this brush would be comfortable for both my cats and dogs.
The brush has tines that are covered with soft tips, very comfortable for everyone, even our 17 year old cranky cat. It also pulled off mountains of loose fur from our goldens with out stripping their undercoats. Loved using this brush wile it lasted. After about 6 months the handle brokeI’ll be looking for the same style but with a solid or metal handle in the future
