Does the trick
My cat started spraying in his old litter box, this actually does the trick of catching it, then I just wipe it down instead of it getting on my walls and flooring. I mean it could differ if your cat pees or sprays higher but this does the trick for mine. The lid isn’t super secure but my cat never moves it and it makes it easier for me to grab and wipe it down so I say it’s a win. Also it keeps a lot more of the litter inside, my cat was having an issue with knocking it out before this litter box. Sorry this review is a little all over the place but I do like this litter box and it does do the trick for my baby.

I bought this litter box because I knew once I detched the split lid, it would fit in the small space between my toilet & sink but still keep the box mostly covered to keep my dog from getting forbidden snacks.
My cat does actually seem to prefer this litter box to our top entry one in the other room.
HOWEVER, not only does the lid not attach snap onto the bottom (I have a male cat & I’m try to contain the pee), but the base was clearly designed by someone that’s never scooped litter. The bottom isn’t flat & smooth which makes scooping harder, & the contoured sides creates areas for pee clumps to get stuck & difficult to remove with just your scoop. For now I’m continuing to use it til I find a better solution at which point I’ll probably throw it away.

I wanted something to fit in our bathroom sink cabinet we leave the cabinet door open on one side so she can go in and out. It has an easy height level entry for our senior cat, yet has high walls to keep the litter from going all over the place. This one is perfect! There’s less litter on the floor from her feet and she has good room and it’s easy to clean. I like the little scoop just for when I pour in fresh litter, to smooth it out. And I use my regular larger scoop for her urine clumps and poo.
I LOVE this catbox!! The top snaps on each side and it’s light instead of dark.February 21, 2024Helpful?

The Good:
Has a hard sided shield that prevents cat from flinging litter out onto the floor. And it does this well. Side is sturdy, translucent so light comes in.The Bad:
Way too deep! They should take 1 3 4″ off the height of the tray part.
Poor molding design. I see now why they don’t show a picture of the inside or underside.
1) The bottom is molded with a simple indent that has the inner part of the bottom raised off the floor. Well… they should have had a cat walk into it first! This flimsy molding is depressed as the cat walks in. Bad idea. I had to re engineer a new bottom for firmer support. This flaw has an easy fix. The tray I replaced has a slight criss cross pattern molded into the underside that gives it the stability this one lacks.
2) the front corners have a notch molded into them. I assume someone thought this was for stability maybe?? Too bad they didn’t cat test that first too! Kitties typically pee in the corner or at an edge. It is VERY hard to get the pee ball out of the front corners and sometimes requires hand wiping messy. And that indented bottom? Impedes cleaning as well. Who though it would be a good idea to run a scooper over ridged and convoluted surfaces 2x a day? Obviously, no one who has cleaned up after a cat.Locking feature? It would be interesting to know what they mean by this. Lacking an explanation, stop calling it a “feature” since it’s not evident.

I am loving this litter box.
Pros:
High Sides
Deep Box
Comes with scooper that is sturdy and clips to side of the box
Easy to clean
Cat likes boxCon
Just one, the sides don’t clip on as tightly as I’d like but honestly even if they clipped on tightly, with time, they’d loosen removing them often to empty box and cleanSwitching to this box and pellet litter had dramatically helped with the constant mess my 6 months old kitten was making of my bathroom. I had a standard box with high walls but he would get traditional clay litter on every surface of the bathroom. The box still improved quite a bit with the clay litter but the perfect storm has been this box and pellet litter.
If I get any more cats, I’ll be setting them up with their own replica of this box.

I love the removable high sides which help keep litter in the box and comes off easily for scooping. However, what is beyond my comprehension is why there is a small ridge in the bottom of the tray around the entire box wet litter gets trapped in there and I use clumping litter! Also, at the front entry there are two small bump outs that create another place that is super hard to scoop and my cats like to urinate along the edge of the box, so this is a deal breaker for me. Why they did not just make this a simple rectangle without a ridge is beyond me because a litter box should not be a pain to clean it is already an unpleasant chore. I think it was designed by someone who has nver scooped a litterbox!

Not overly durable, but the side piece fits nicely onto the base, and hasn’t been knocked off yet. Nor has littler been spilled out over the sides or back. All in all, for the price, it’s perfectly fine.
