I hate packing. I hate boxes. I hate tape. But this did make it slightly less infuriating because it actually worked well.

Awful. The spring loaded blade doesn’t cut and no matter how hard with the tape pressing wiper the blade never comes out fully. The tape shreds or I have to cut with scissors. Awful design. Will never buy again. The tape shredded itself when I was trying to get it loaded and I use these kinds of shipping tape dispensers all the time. Going back to Duck Tape brand.

I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M, and the company recently sent me a free sample of Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Tape. I have used it on several different boxes, one which had a heavy item inside and was shipping via a shipping company. I was very happy with how the tape went onto the package and how heavy the tape felt compared to my normal packaging tape. It was much more sturdy and adhered much better. The dispenser is very easy to use and it allows for a smooth cut when using the tape. Very happy and pleased with this heavy duty tape.See less

i purchased this particular dispenser,thinking it would facilitate a smooth taping experience. it did not, it often would hang up and cause me to waste several inches of tape in the process.
